Story

Jean Danet Pastries is a family-owned Brooklyn bakery built on tradition, craftsmanship, and a lifelong passion for baking. Pat grew up in his father’s bakery, learning the art of Italian pastry-making from an early age. After years of experience, he purchased Jean Danet Pastry and continued the family tradition—bringing old-world techniques and authentic recipes to a new generation.

Today, we’re known throughout Brooklyn for our rich, ultra-creamy New York–style cheesecakes, along with a full selection of freshly made Italian pastries, cookies, and custom cakes. From birthdays and special occasions to elegant, multi-tiered wedding cakes, every creation is made from scratch using premium ingredients and time-tested methods.

We work closely with each customer to design cakes that reflect their style and celebration, whether classic, modern, or inspired by meaningful traditions. Jean Danet Pastry proudly serves a diverse Brooklyn community, creating cakes that feel personal, refined, and unforgettable—both in presentation and taste.
